Physical Uses: All the Tourmalines contain a wide scope of healing effects. The multi-colored Tourmalines combine several qualities.
Folklore: Native Americans have used pink and green Tourmaline as funeral gifts for centuries. An old Egyptian legend, is that the Tourmaline, on its long journey up from the center of the Earth, passed over a rainbow. In doing so, it assumed all the colors of the rainbow.

Kunzite

Kunzite is a stone that has been around for millions of years, yet was only 'discovered' less than a hundred years ago by a gemstone specialist named George Kunz, when pale pink Kunzite was found in San Diego County. It ranges from pale pink to lavender. There is little tradition associated with it as it so new. Many contemporary healers advocate its use in alleviating depression and mood disorders.

Tiger's Eye

Tiger's Eye combines earth energy with the energies of the sun to create a high vibrational state that is nevertheless grounded, drawing the spiritual energies to the earth. Placed on the 3^rd eye, it enhances psychic abilities in earthy people and balances the lower Chakras, stimulating the rise of the Kundalini energy.

In ancient times, the stone was thought t be all seeing. The Romans wore it as a protection against enemies and the Egyptians believed the beautiful tigers eye would bring good fortune and protects its bearer. They attributed its golden color to the sun which they worshiped as a god.

Garnet (Almandine)

Garnet Attributes: Garnet is a powerful energizing and regenerating stone. It cleanses and re-energizes the chakras. Long ago, it was carried as a protective stone because it is said it was able to warn of approaching danger. Garnet is a plentiful stone.
